As a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on essential equipment like baggage carts, deicing units, and more—ensuring everything on the ground is ready for takeoff.

• Perform light and heavy repairs on a variety of Ground Support Equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel, gas, and LP engines
• Troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Repair hydraulic systems and 80/48 volt DC systems
• Use diagnostic software for Powertrain Management Systems
• Troubleshoot and repair Airstart systems
• Stay sharp with ongoing training and skill development
• Maintain productivity and complete repair orders accurately and on time

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical testing and troubleshooting
• Strong ability to read schematics and perform electrical diagnostics
• Basic toolset ready to go
• Previous GSE experience preferred
• Solid knowledge of gas and diesel engines (3+ years preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Vocational training certificate or equivalent experience
• Clear communication skills—both written and verbal
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Eligibility to obtain an airport-issued ID badge

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
