As a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic, you’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on essential equipment like baggage carts, deicing units, and more—ensuring everything on the ground is ready for takeoff.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing- Perform light and heavy repairs on a variety of Ground Support Equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel, gas, and LP engines
- Troubleshoot A/C and D/C electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Repair hydraulic systems and 80/48 volt DC systems
- Use diagnostic software for Powertrain Management Systems
- Troubleshoot and repair Airstart systems
- Stay sharp with ongoing training and skill development
- Maintain productivity and complete repair orders accurately and on time
🛠️ What You Bring- 4+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical testing and troubleshooting
- Strong ability to read schematics and perform electrical diagnostics
- Basic toolset ready to go
- Previous GSE experience preferred
- Solid knowledge of gas and diesel engines (3+ years preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Vocational training certificate or equivalent experience
- Clear communication skills—both written and verbal
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Eligibility to obtain an airport-issued ID badge

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
