As a Mechanic, you will perform daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components. You will analyze failure modes and recommend repair plans while producing detailed non-routine service reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze failure modes and recommend repair plans.
• Produce detailed non-routine service reports.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, and transmissions.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
• Experience in automotive service, industrial equipment repair, or aerospace ground equipment.

• Five years of experience with powered and non-powered maintenance shops or proven capabilities.
• Skill in using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and learn industry-related software.
• Experience operating special test and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers.

The work is primarily outdoors, which can get very hot in the summer. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
