Primary Job Duties
This is a full-time position.
As a GSE Parts Technician, you will be responsible for keeping parts inventory on hand to support our mechanics.
- Enter data into the Fleet Focus fleet maintenance program
- Purchase parts for GSE shops
- Compile and analyze departmental parts usage data
- Coordinate with vendors regarding parts pricing and availability
- Receive, ship, transfer, and organize parts within Fleet Focus and the parts room
- Pick up, package, and deliver parts as needed
- Conduct inventory counts for GSE shop parts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room
- Keep the travel trailer stocked with parts required for annual station visits
- Generate weekly, monthly, and annual parts reports
- Review, approve, and investigate invoices within the accounting system
- Order and maintain inventory of office and shop supplies for GSE shops
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- This position is not classified as a Department of Transportation (DOT) safety-sensitive position.
