The Line Service Technician is responsible for participating in the safe, efficient, and professional day-to-day operation of the Fixed Base Operator (FBO). This position assists the Line Service Manager in all line service activities with a hands-on role in fueling, ramp operations, and customer service. This individual assists in ensuring that safety, service quality, and operational standards are maintained. Ensure all aircraft, crew, and passengers receive a first-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Line Service Manager in all aspects of performing day-to-day operations of the Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
- Participate in on-going training for all aspects of the FBO.
- Ensure consistent performance, professionalism, and safety compliance.
- Foster a positive customer-focused work environment
Aircraft Services
- Aircraft fueling (Jet A and Avgas)
- Marshalling, parking, and hangaring
- Aircraft towing and ramp coordination
- Coordinate with the Line Service Manager for incoming aircraft for:
- Fueling and servicing
- Catering and ground transportation
- Cleaning and lavatory services
Fuel Operations & Compliance
- Perform tasks maintaining fuel quality control and regulatory compliance as assigned by the Line Service Manager.
- Such tasks may be Daily fuel sump checks, Filter inspections, Hose and equipment inspections, Fuel farm and tank compliance logs
Participate in Facility & Ramp Operations such as:
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized ramp and FBO facilities.
- Perform and oversee:
- Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk
- Basic airfield and facility maintenance
- Ensure all equipment is operational and properly maintained
Administrative & Financial Duties
- Receive payment for fuel sales and tie-down fees
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of aircraft fueling procedures and safety standards
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate ground support equipment
- Valid driver’s license (required)
