We are currently seeking a Part-Time Ramp Agent to join our team at our Williams Lake, BC base.

Ramp agents are responsible for handling passenger baggage and cargo while adhering to all Ramp/Airside methods and standards. Duties include marshaling aircraft, operating and positioning all airside equipment, performing equipment maintenance checks, loading and unloading aircraft, accepting and receiving cargo, and communicating load counts to flight crews.

Job Responsibilities
  • Handling passenger baggage and cargo while adhering to all ramp/airside methods and standards

  • Marshalling aircraft in and out of the ramp area safely

  • Operating and positioning all airside equipment

  • Performing basic baggage equipment maintenance checks

  • Assisting passengers with disabilities during deplaning and enplaning

  • Coordinate aircraft de-icing

  • Accepting and receiving cargo

  • Communicate load counts to flight crews

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must have a valid driver’s license or transferrable license (“N” license at minimum)

  • Ability to lift 70lbs/32kgs repetitively  Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb repetitively

  • Work in confined spaces

  • Basic computer skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Safety conscious- able to keep safety a priority in all tasks

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Must be able to obtain and retain a RAIC and AVOP driver’s license

  • Willingness to work outside in adverse weather conditions
