Responsibilities

Ramp Service Agents are essential in providing our guests "MORE GO"! It is a huge responsibility and takes a coordinated effort from the whole team to accomplish this.  Our Ramp Service Agents perform many tasks to keep our under-wing operations running safely, efficiently and on-time. Pay Rate: Starting at $16.73/hr. 

  • Load and unload of baggage, cargo, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft
  • Transport items between terminals, aircraft and the bag room using belt-loaders, tugs, carts and other vehicles/equipment
  • Marshal aircraft which requires working closely with other personnel to ensure there is a safe path for the aircraft, jetbridge, vehicles, equipment, and employees
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Certification required
  • Must hold a valid Non-Restricted Drivers License and be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language 
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Must be a U.S Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have authorization to work in the U.S under any category, except C08, C09, and C11
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and 10-year background check
  • Able to routinely lift at least 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, days off, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis 
  • Must be able to attend training for four (4) weeks; 40 hours a week
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed due to operational necessity 
  • Must be able to perform all duties in various weather conditions and time constraints 
  • Previous airlines/ramp experience a plus
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
  • Ability to hold airport specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
