The Robinson Mechanic is a licensed A&P mechanic primarily responsible for maintaining Robinson R22, R44, and R66 helicopters through the Air Shasta Part 145 Repair Station based in Redding California. This position requires the successful applicant to have a familiarity with Robinson reciprocal and turbine engine helicopters, but additional training and support is available. As an integral member of the Maintenance department, the Robinson Mechanic helps to ensure that all work is compliant with FAA regulations, contractual obligations, established QA procedures, and all other company policies applicable to the maintenance department. Occasional travel may be required at company expense.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure adherence to FAA, and other regulatory requirements
- Perform all aspects of maintenance & repair on Robinson helicopters
- Assist in developing and maintaining processes and workflows to effectively and safely facilitate the completion of work
- Proactively coordinate with DOM, Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to plan and schedule for periodic maintenance events based on aircraft hours, life-limited components, time since last inspection, etc.
- Promote a positive workplace atmosphere by maintaining professional and productive communication and interactions with others including: maintenance team members, pilots, drivers, office staff, management, outside vendors, and customers
- Maintain compliance with Air Shasta's Safety Management System and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to maintaining the shop/hangar facilities in a clean, organized, and professional state
- Utilize records and communication systems implemented by Air Shasta including: DATS, ModernHawk, EBIS, and others as determined by senior management
- Serve as a point-of-contact for maintenance questions related to Robinson helicopters
- Ensure applicable RII, pre-cowl, and other QC inspections are completed prior to return to service
- Ensure adherence to applicable FOD control procedures established in the FOD Manual
