POSITION LEVELS
Tech I – Entry-Level A&P Technician
Experience: 0–2 years
Certifications: FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) required
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inspections and routine maintenance under supervision.
- Perform basic tasks such as oil changes, tire/brake replacement, safety wiring, and aircraft cleaning.
- Document maintenance actions accurately and in compliance with company and FAA standards.
- Support lead technicians with troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of A&P fundamentals.
- Willingness to learn Cirrus, Cessna, Diamond, and Pilatus systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work within established safety procedures.
Tech II – Intermediate A&P Technician
Experience: 2–5 years
Certifications: A&P required; manufacturer-specific training preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform general-aviation piston aircraft maintenance with limited supervision.
- Conduct routine and non-routine inspections on Cirrus, Cessna, and Diamond aircraft.
- Assist in turbine aircraft maintenance including Pilatus PC-12 NGX/PC-24 and Cessna CJ2.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and avionics-related issues.
- Guide Tech I technicians and ensure proper task execution.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logbook entries.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting abilities on piston platforms.
- Familiarity with Garmin avionics and Cirrus systems highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and ensure safety compliance.
Tech III – Advanced A&P Technician
Experience: 5–8 years
Certifications:
- A&P required
- Cirrus training, Pilatus type-specific training, or turbine maintenance qualifications strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex troubleshooting, repairs, and system diagnostics across all supported aircraft types.
- Lead major inspections including annuals, 100-hour inspections, Phase/POH inspections on turbine aircraft, and composite structure repairs.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for Cirrus SR22T, Cessna 172, DA42, and Pilatus PC-12/PC-24 platforms.
- Provide mentorship and oversight for Tech I & II technicians.
- Ensure work quality meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency across multiple airframes and powerplants.
- Ability to interpret advanced schematics, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Senior Technician – Lead A&P / Shop Lead
Experience: 8+ years
Certifications:
- A&P required
- IA (Inspection Authorization) strongly preferred
- Advanced OEM training (Cirrus, Pilatus, or Cessna CJ series) highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations and workflow within the shop.
- Perform final inspections, return aircraft to service, and sign off logbooks as authorized.
- Act as primary technical resource for high-complexity tasks and turbine aircraft maintenance.
- Coordinate with management, parts, and dispatch teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate all technician levels.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and FAA compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Expert-level troubleshooting and system knowledge across piston and turbine fleets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
