We are a busy and well-established aircraft maintenance provider specializing in float plane maintenance, serving customers throughout Alaska. We’re currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and safety-driven A&P Mechanic to maintain multiple Part 135 customer aircraft fleets and Part 91 private aircraft. This is an opportunity to live and work in one of the most scenic and rewarding aviation environments in the world.

Position Highlights:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on primarily float-equipped aircraft (primarily DHC-2 Beavers, DHC-3 Otters, Cessna 100 series, etc.)
• Customer base includes Part 135 operators so "after hours" obligations arise but are limited.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and Part 135 operational standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural issues
• Collaborate with pilots, ops staff, and fellow mechanics to ensure top-tier aircraft readiness

Qualifications:

• Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred (float plane or bush flying ops preferred)
• Willing to train an entry-level A&P for the right candidate
• Familiarity with Part 135 operations is a strong plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Willingness to live and work in Ketchikan, Alaska
• Comply with FAA mandated drug testing program
