We are a busy and well-established aircraft maintenance provider specializing in float plane maintenance, serving customers throughout Alaska. We’re currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and safety-driven A&P Mechanic to maintain multiple Part 135 customer aircraft fleets and Part 91 private aircraft. This is an opportunity to live and work in one of the most scenic and rewarding aviation environments in the world.
Position Highlights:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on primarily float-equipped aircraft (primarily DHC-2 Beavers, DHC-3 Otters, Cessna 100 series, etc.)
- Customer base includes Part 135 operators so "after hours" obligations arise but are limited.
- Ensure all maintenance complies with FAA regulations and Part 135 operational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and structural issues
- Collaborate with pilots, ops staff, and fellow mechanics to ensure top-tier aircraft readiness
