In this hands-on role, youll perform advanced aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications on mid-to-large-size aircraft while ensuring every task meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and FAA compliance. What Youll Do
As an Aircraft Technician, youll independently perform a wide range of maintenance and modification activities while supporting operational excellence throughout the maintenance process.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems.
Remove, install, troubleshoot, and repair:
Airframe components
Landing gear systems
Engine components
Electrical systems
Flight control systems
Complete maintenance tasks within established labor standards and schedules.
Coordinate with the Inspection Department to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal quality requirements.
Complete work orders, maintenance records, shift turnovers, and documentation accurately and on time.
Provide technical guidance and work direction to assigned technicians.
Serve as a backup to the Mechanical Team Lead when assigned.
Safely operate ground support equipment including power units, hydraulic rigs, nitrogen carts, and oxygen service equipment.
Coordinate aircraft movement and positioning as required.
Assist in training and mentoring new technicians on maintenance procedures, technical manuals, computerized maintenance programs (CMP), and aircraft systems.
Coordinate repair and overhaul activities with internal departments and external service providers.
Utilize material tracking systems to manage parts requests and labor charging.
Support aircraft certification activities and flight test operations when required.
Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to improve efficiency, quality, and workplace organization.
Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work environments through 6S and safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic Certificate.
Minimum of 4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working on mid-size or large aircraft.
Valid Drivers License.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Advanced knowledge of aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station requirements, Quality Control manuals, and company procedures.
Ability to interpret and utilize:
Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC)
Service Bulletins
Structural Repair Manuals (SRM)
Engineering Drawings
Technical Reference Documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
Experience working in business aviation or corporate aviation environments.
Leadership or team lead experience within aircraft maintenance operations.
Strong mentoring and training capabilities.
Experience supporting aircraft certification and flight testing activities.

Pay Details: $37.86 per hour
