FULL-TIME Opportunity in Wichita, Kansas

$62,705-$91,455 (starting pay) Depending on Experience

We are hiring for Aircraft Float Mechanics to support the daily maintenance of the fixed wing aircraft across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, appliances, etc. Our Float Maintenance team maintains our aircraft to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Provide on-site maintenance support for our fleet of King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 series aircraft located at various locations
  • Maintain the fixed wing aircraft
  • Preform Scheduled aircraft maintenance
  • Manage base inventory
  • Maintain company owned ground support equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certifications and Licensing

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
  • Valid state issued Drivers License
  • Additional FAA/FCC ratings preferred
  • Fixed wing turbo prop maintenance experience
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory system
  • Manufacturer training or equivalent on King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 preferred
  • King Air C90 and Beechcraft B200 maintenance experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel between bases to support maintenance needs is required
