Position SummaryDavcor Aviation Services is seeking A&P-licensed Aircraft Mechanics to support commercial aircraft maintenance operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment.
This is an immediate-need position, and we are actively seeking candidates who can start right away.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul, and troubleshoot aircraft systems on commercial aircraft
Perform maintenance in compliance with aircraft maintenance manuals, company policies, procedures, and customer requirements
Apply general Airframe and Powerplant system knowledge; structural experience is desired but not required
Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance in assigned specialized areas
Develop repair schemes utilizing Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) or approved engineering data
Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and specifications to determine repair methods
Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel and leadership regarding work progress and technical issues
Complete job assignments efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards
Accurately complete required paperwork, on-the-job training (OJT) forms, and required readings
Perform additional duties as assigned by managers or supervisors
Qualifications & RequirementsValid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (Required)
Boeing 737 experience (Required)
Minimum of 2+ years experience with aircraft structures
Minimum of 2+ years experience with aircraft systems
Boeing 747 and MD-11 experience preferred
Knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work areas
Must possess minimum required personal tools
Must be willing to perform additional functions as assigned
Ability and willingness to work a graveyard (overnight) shift
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime as required
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Passport is a plus
Extensive travel required

Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThe responsibilities and duties while performing maintenance include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform day-to-day planned and unplanned aircraft maintenance
Perform maintenance in compliance with company manuals, approved technical data, and applicable federal regulations
Maintain and properly use related tools and equipment
Perform all work tasks with a high level of quality, safety, and attention to detail
Ensure all required paperwork and maintenance records are completed accurately and handled in accordance with company manuals and federal regulations
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language clearly
Ability to squat, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
Ability to work from maintenance stands, lifts, and lift trucks
Ability to read wire diagrams and understand technical instructions at varying levels of complexity
Ability to follow and disseminate detailed work instructions
Work performed in hangar, ramp, and aircraft environments, including exposure to industrial conditions and varying weather
Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change based on operational needs
ScheduleGraveyard (overnight) shift
8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
Weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as required
