Job Title: Maintenance Controller
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Controller responsible for overseeing maintenance control on 10 to 12 aircraft. You will ensure that line maintenance is conducted in compliance with all FAA, Manufacturer, and Company regulations and policies. This role involves monitoring work progress, discussing pilot reports, and ensuring the timely correction of discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure line maintenance performs aircraft maintenance within compliance of all FAA, Manufacturer, and Company regulations, policies, and requirements.
- Discuss all pilot reports and non-routine items with respective line station/line mechanics as each aircraft terminates.
- Monitor all work progress at the line stations, assuring systematic troubleshooting and timely correction of discrepancies, providing technical assistance as required.
- Coordinate the movement of required parts to the aircraft.
- Monitor discrepancies reported on a daily basis to identify chronic non-routine items.
- Approve and record all items that are deferred or carried over.
- Ensure that all work request items and scheduled maintenance are in work and completed timely.
- Monitor all check remaining times on a continuing basis.
- Make controlled work assignments for reports, deferrals, carry-overs, and chronic problem items.
- Maintain a daily log of all maintenance activities, including discrepancies by aircraft registration numbers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program to alert the Director of Maintenance.

Work Environment
This is an office-based role within an experienced supplemental carrier specializing in freight forwarding, government, and military contracts. The company operates a worldwide fleet of Boeing 757 and 767 cargo and combi passenger aircraft. The position involves 12-hour shifts with schedules alternating between 3 on/3 off and 4 on/4 off. New hires will undergo a training period scheduled from 8 AM to 5 PM for the first 2-4 weeks. Shift assignments will be determined based on knowledge and performance, ensuring talent is distributed equally.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.06 - $44.00/hr.
