We are seeking a skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic (Mobile Response Team) to join our team in Portland, Oregon. Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft in both scheduled and unscheduled environments.
- Perform and document all work in accordance with applicable manuals, regulations, and Bombardier standards.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical removals, installations, and system servicing.
- Assist with aircraft component repairs and engine removal/installation as required.
Mobile Response Operations
- Support AOG and field maintenance events at off-site locations.
- Operate ground support equipment as needed.
- Provide high-quality, timely service while representing the organization in a professional manner.
- Assist other maintenance disciplines to ensure efficient aircraft return-to-service.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Follow Bombardier General Work Requirements for shop, hangar, and field operations.
- Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule:
(MRT schedules vary based on customer needs; typical shifts include)
• Monday–Friday or variable MRT rotations
• Overtime frequently required
• Travel required for AOG and field maintenance support
Qualifications
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Minimum 3 years of business jet or CRJ experience, and/or 1 year of experience on a Bombardier aircraft model
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must provide own basic hand tools with proper inventory and control
- Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in seasonal/inclement weather
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge
- Basic PC skills required
