A&P Mechanic - Fairchild Metros, Dornier 328Jets, Embraer E-145LRs, Embraer Brasilia

We currently operate a fleet of 30 aircraft, including Fairchild Metros, Dornier 328Jets, Embraer E-145LRs, and an Embraer Brasilia.  Our growth plans include the continued addition of E-145LRs and Fairchild Metros to our fleet.

STARTING SALARY: Non-A&P candidates start at $29 per hour. New A&P candidates start at $31.40.  Pay overrides for relevant experience and Certifications are available, as are generous overrides for premium shifts and additional qualifications.

WORK ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with the current technical data, manufacturer’s instructions to continued airworthiness, service bulletins, and other FAA approved/acceptable data.
• Ensure all aircraft maintenance records are executed in compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations.
• May perform other job duties as directed by company management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, verification of credentials, and a pre-employment drug test per DOT regulations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as described by the Immigration Reform act of 1986.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

• Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• Must have vision ability sufficient to perform essential job functions.
• Must be able to perform all job functions within a limited space and in hazardous areas.
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in cramped or confined places.

• Required to have a complete set of mechanic's tools.
• Required to perform field service work outside of the normal shop environment, may also include staying overnight.
• Must be able to work shift work and/or overtime, as well as holidays and weekends.
