Seeking a qualified and dependable A&P Mechanic to join maintenance team in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in maintaining turbine-powered aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft airframe and powerplant systems
- Conduct inspections in accordance with FAA regulations (including 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections)
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Remove, install, and test aircraft components and systems
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Accurately document maintenance activities in aircraft logs and maintenance tracking systems
- Perform engine runs and operational checks as required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Coordinate with maintenance control, inspectors, and flight crews to ensure aircraft readiness
Aircraft Platforms Supported:
A&P Mechanics may work on, but are not limited to:
- Beechcraft King Air series (C90 / B200 / 350)
- Cessna Citation series (CJ3 / XLS / Excel)
- Embraer ERJ-135 / ERJ-145
- Bombardier CRJ-200
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Minimum of 2–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with turbine aircraft strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
