Position Overview
G&G Aero is a flight testing department at the Goodyear Airport that operates highly modified test aircraft to support industry and government flight test.
G&G Aero is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA) to support maintenance, modification, and integration efforts for aircraft operating in a demanding flight test environment.
This role supports specialized airborne testing, captive carry programs, and experimental aircraft modifications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting capability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Execute and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions
- Support aircraft modification programs and flight test operations
- Perform return-to-service inspections and ensure FAA compliance
- Support avionics and mission systems installation efforts
- Assist with fabrication and custom modification work
- Maintain maintenance documentation and inspection records
- Travel as required to support deployed flight operations
- Support special mission aircraft operations and rapid-response maintenance requirements
Qualifications
Highly Desired Experience
- Avionics and electronics installation experience
- Fabrication experience
- G-1159 (Gulfstream GIII) experience
- Flight test aircraft support experience
