Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
Join our repair station dedicated to serving small corporate and general aviation clients. As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft safety and functionality through comprehensive inspections, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components.
- Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Assist with various tasks around the hangar as needed.
Essential Skills
- A&P license with over 2 years of corporate, turbo prop, or general aviation experience.
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance, specifically with King Air and Pratt and Whitney PT6.
- Experience with electrical and engine-driven component troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- General mechanic back-ground.
- Experience with Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft, Mooney, King Air, Citation, CJ, and TBM.
- Familiarity with Textron products is a desirable asset.

Work Environment
Located in Baton Rouge, LA, our facility serves as a one-stop-shop for aircraft sales and service. You will work alongside 18 hangar staff and minimal office personnel, ensuring varied and dynamic tasks. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime based on workload. We offer paid holidays and a strong focus on employee satisfaction.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
