Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
Join our repair station dedicated to servicing small corporate and general aviation clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft safety and functionality through comprehensive inspection and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to identify wear, defects, and other issues.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks in accordance with regulations and safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components.
- Document all maintenance and repair work according to FAA regulations.
- Assist with various tasks around the hangar as needed.
Essential Skills
- Possession of an A&P license with over 2 years of experience in corporate, turbo prop, or general aviation.
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance, particularly with King Air and Pratt and Whitney PT6 engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- General Mechanic Experience
- Experience with Piper, Cessna, Beechcraft, Mooney, King Air, Citation, CJ, and TBM aircraft.
- Experience with Textron products is highly desirable.

Work Environment
Work in a leading Aircraft Sales & Service solutions provider based in Baton Rouge, LA, dedicated to simplifying aircraft acquisition and operation. Join a team of 18 professionals in the hangar, with tasks assigned by a lead. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility depending on workload.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, LA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
