Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented A&P Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, a strong understanding of aircraft systems, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on airframes, engines, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and FAA-compliant documentation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance planners, and other technicians to complete aircraft maintenance efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical and structural issues and determine corrective actions.
- Support aircraft ground operations, including pre-flight and post-flight checks.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications:
- FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Certification required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience performing aircraft maintenance in a commercial, corporate, or military environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and FAA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with business jets or regional aircraft.
- Experience with avionics troubleshooting and installations.
- Experience with inspections such as 100-hour, annual, and phase checks.
Work Environment:
- May require occasional overtime or flexible hours based on operational needs.
