A&P Mechanic – Commercial Jet EnginesLocation: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair on commercial jet engines at our Fort Myers, FL facility. This role is ideal for a skilled aviation professional with strong powerplant experience who values a stable weekday schedule and a safety-focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on commercial jet engines
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and overhaul engine components in accordance with FAA regulations
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical data, and service bulletins
- Accurately document all maintenance actions and inspections
- Ensure compliance with FAA, company, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics and maintenance personnel
Requirements- Valid A&P License with Powerplant certification required
- Proven experience working on commercial jet engines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and FAA documentation
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hangar environment
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with commercial engines
- Previous MRO or airline maintenance experience
- Inspection Authorization (IA) a plus
- borescope experience is a plus

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
