University Air Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our maintenance team. An Inspection Authorization (IA) is preferred but not required.
In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and returning to service a variety of fixed-wing aircraft, including single-engine piston aircraft, turboprops, and multi-engine jets. Responsibilities include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company safety standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Maintenance and fellow maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and airworthiness. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential to this role.
