Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionThe A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing heavy maintenance (C & D checks) and aircraft modifications in a Heavy Maintenance / MRO work environment. This includes tasks such as engine removals and replacements, landing gear removals, repairs and replacements, struct packing, tire changes, and flight control repairs and replacements.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance tasks including C & D checks.
- Execute aircraft modifications as required.
- Conduct engine removals and replacements.
- Handle landing gear removals, repairs, and replacements.
- Perform struct packing and tire changes.
- Carry out flight control repairs and replacements.
Essential Skills- A&P License
- Experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
- Proficiency in performing C & D checks and heavy maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an MRO environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Airbus models A319, A320, A321 and Boeing models B737, B757, B767, B777, B747 is highly desirable.
- CRJ & ERJ experience is welcome.
- Depot Level or Phase Level Military experience with large fixed-wing aircraft like C-17, C-130, KC-135, KC-10 is acceptable.

Work Environment
Work in extremely large MRO/Heavy Maintenance Hangars. Steel toe shoes and personal tools are required. The work environment includes multiple hangars and requires flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including some weekends. Shift hours are 1st shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, 3rd shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
