Job Title: A&P MechanicJob Description
Join a dynamic team at the Richmond location, opened in 2020, to work on aircraft maintenance and repair. The role involves working on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 models with a focus on heavy maintenance including C and D checks.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance (C and D checks) on CRJ 200, 700, and 900 aircraft.
- Conduct hangar maintenance supporting 2-3 aircraft in cycle.
- Carry out repetitive reliability checks, gear changes, and other heavy maintenance tasks.
- Repair sheet and extruded metal structural parts of aircraft according to design specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery to meet design specifications.
- Read design specifications or examine sample parts to determine fabrication procedures.
Essential Skills- 1+ years of experience with CRJ models or CRJ GENFAM.
- Ability to provide basic hand tools.
- Valid drivers license.
- Capability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A license is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
The job is based at Richmond International Airport, working alongside 12 mechanics and management/supervisors. The role requires flexibility in days worked, with shifts scheduled for four 10-hour days from 9 PM to 7:30 AM.

This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, Virginia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
