Aircraft Technician
Job Description
- As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of aircraft parts, including wings, fuselage, and landing gear, following engineering drawings and specifications. You will clean, inspect, and make necessary repairs, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assemblies. You will perform A-Checks on Boeing Aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble aircraft parts such as wings, fuselage, and landing gear.
- Follow engineering drawings and specifications closely.
- Clean, inspect, and repair aircraft components as necessary.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for assembly.
- Conduct A-Checks on Boeing Aircraft.
Essential Skills
- A&P license.
- Experience with maintenance repair on commercial aircraft.
- Proficient in airframe and line maintenance.
- Experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
- Knowledgeable in aircraft maintenance and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Boeing or Airbus experience is highly desirable.
- Open to shift work, with most working a 4 day / 10 hour shift.
- Tools required for the role.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00/hr.
