Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to perform a wide range of mechanical duties on various aircraft models. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare them for flight and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary mechanical work on aircraft systems.
- Conduct turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run-ups.
- Carry out airframe system and component changes, as well as systems checkout.
- Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
- Apply knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as outlined in FAR 43.
- Utilize tools like tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and timing lights for system repair or modification.
- Tow and move aircraft during maintenance duties.
- Assist in cleaning parts and components during aircraft repair and assembly.
- Perform additional tasks associated with the service center operation.
- Take responsibility for own work.
Essential Skills
- A minimum of 2 years experience in diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance.
- A&P License is required.
- Proficiency in arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles.
- Familiarity with aircraft mechanical systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred 5 years of experience.
- Experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repairs of aircraft.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64977.00 - $106080.00/yr.
