Aircraft Mechanic at the San Diego Airport!
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for the accomplishment of all assigned work in accordance with company policies, government regulations, and manufacturer specifications as outlined in approved technical publications.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various customers aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within the scope of approval to return aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems and disassemble, repair, and reassemble components to maintain equipment functionality according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and air carrier/manufacturer manuals, and document all work performed.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills
- Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- 3+ years of aircraft maintenance experience with a preference for line maintenance.
- Gen Fam A320 and A330 preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity frequently.
- Capability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Read and write English proficiently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Work Environment
Work at the San Diego International Airport flightline with a schedule of 4 days on / 3 days off (Sun - Thurs or Wed - Sat). Shifts may include 3:30pm - 2am or 3am - 1:30pm. Be prepared to work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions, handling exposure to fumes, particles, and loud noises.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
