Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
This role offers the opportunity to perform hands-on aircraft maintenance with a leading global MRO provider. You will work primarily on B767 aircraft while gaining valuable cross-training on additional airframes, performing line maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a steady Monday–Friday evening schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance on primarily B767 aircraft, including line maintenance and heavy maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Carry out general repairs and line replaceable unit (LRU) replacements in accordance with approved maintenance data and procedures.
- Perform troubleshooting on aircraft systems with a heavy emphasis on avionics, identifying faults and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Conduct routine inspections up to and including A checks, ensuring all work meets regulatory and company standards.
- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical components and systems, including hydraulic, fuel, oxygen, water, and air conditioning systems, as well as floor panels.
- Use and maintain standard line maintenance tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately and legibly in maintenance records and logbooks, following applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other technicians, inspectors, and operations staff to support safe, on-time aircraft operations.
- Follow all FAA, company, and safety regulations, including adherence to required drug and background screening standards.
- Participate in training to expand capabilities to additional aircraft types such as A319, A320, A321, B737, B777, and E190 once initial training is complete.
Essential Skills
- Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum 1.5 years (18 months) of hands-on A&P mechanic experience.
- Practical avionics experience in addition to general A&P maintenance skills.
- Experience performing aircraft line maintenance activities.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting on aircraft systems, with a strong focus on avionics.
- Proficiency in general aircraft maintenance, including LRU replacement, repairs, and routine inspections up to A checks.
- Experience working on B767 aircraft or similar transport-category aircraft.
- Ability to safely use standard line maintenance tools.
- Capability to work a consistent evening shift (7:00 pm) Monday through Friday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with B767 airframes is highly preferred.
- Willingness to train and work on additional aircraft types, including A319, A320, A321, B737, B777, and E190.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work occasional weekends is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr.
