We are seeking an experienced Full-Time AMT+IA to join our dynamic team! The Aviation Maintenance Technician with IA is directly responsible to the Lead Technician for the maintenance and repair of the avionics and mechanical equipment needed to make aircraft operate safely. The AMT IA is also responsible and accountable for the Annual Inspections in accordance with FAA regulations.
Required Duties:
- The AMT+IA is responsible and accountable for the repairing, inspecting, alterations, modifications, and maintaining of the structural, mechanical, and electronic elements of each of our fleet and retail business.
- Troubleshooting and evaluating the systems on aircraft and determining air worthiness is a crucial part of this role.
- Responsible for maintaining aircraft standards as required by Galvin Flying policies and procedures, manufacturer guidance as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Uphold a high standard of workmanship in all duties assigned
- Act as a mentor/teacher to our Apprentices and less experienced mechanics.
- Be a source of information to the shop floor employees.
