Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to work on CRJ 700 & 900 aircraft, focusing on heavy maintenance including C and D checks, as well as performing interior modifications. The role involves transitioning aircraft interiors from 70 seats to 50 seats, enhancing first and business class areas. This long-term position requires working directly on heavy maintenance tasks without subcontracting to third-party MROs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct heavy maintenance (C and D checks) on CRJ and ERJ aircraft.
- Perform interior modifications on CRJ 700 and 900 models.
- Execute engine troubleshooting, blade swaps, component changes, and work on fuel controls, excluding full overhauls.
- Perform mods as needed to aircraft during heavy checks in the hangar.
Essential Skills- A&P license required.
- Part 121 experience.
- Experience with CRJ 700 and ERJ aircraft.
- Engine troubleshooting and component change expertise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Preferred experience with CRJ or ERJ airframes.
- Experience with aircraft assembly and repair.
- Ability to read blueprints and operate tablets.
Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled hangar or perform line maintenance as required. Must be flexible to work any day or shift, with voluntary and unlimited overtime options. Schedules are structured as 4x10s or 3x12s. Mechanics are expected to read blueprints and drawings on tablets.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
