Job Title: A&P MechanicJob Description
The A&P Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft. This role requires documenting all work performed in accordance with appropriate manuals and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Assist with fuel and de-fuel operations of aircraft.
- Assist with engine removal and installation.
- Assist with aircraft component repair.
Essential Skills- A&P certification.
- 4-5 years of experience working on aircraft or 1-2 years working on corporate jets.
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
- Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications.
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays.
- Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with corporate jet aircraft, military fixed-wing, or commercial aircraft is preferred.
- Basic PC skills are preferred.
Work EnvironmentThis role involves working on the second shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. There is also a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, with 3/12-hour shifts, where employees work 36 hours but are paid for 40.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
