Job Title: Corporate/Business Jet Aircraft MechanicLocation: Windsor Locks, CT
Pay: $30-50/hr + $875 weekly per diem for nonlocal candidates
About the RoleStep into a high-impact career as a Corporate/Business Jet Aircraft Mechanic (A&P), where your expertise keeps elite aircraft flying safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft while documenting your work to meet FAA regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Document all work performed in compliance with manuals and FAA regulations.
- Operate ground support equipment as needed.
- Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Assist with fueling/de-fueling operations.
- Support engine removal and installation.
- Assist with aircraft component repairs.
Essential Skills- Valid A&P Certificate.
- 5+ years of aircraft experience and/or 2+ years working on corporate jets.
- Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent.
- Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with inventory control.
- Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications.
- Flexibility to work unscheduled overtime, holidays, and in seasonal/inclement weather.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge if required.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with corporate jet aircraft, military fixed-wing, or commercial aircraft.
- Basic PC skills.

Work Environment- Shifts Available:
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (first shift)
- Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM–2:00 AM (second shift)
- Weekend shift: Friday–Sunday, 36 hours across three 12-hour days
- Work performed in a professional aviation facility with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
