STS Technical Services is hiring A&P Mechanics in Waterford, Michigan.

Position Summary
STS Technical Services is partnering with a premier air cargo carrier to hire experienced A&P Mechanics in Waterford, Michigan. This is a contract-to-direct opportunity offering long-term stability and the ability to transition into a direct hire role with a growing aviation operation.
This carrier operates a diverse fleet of 22 aircraft, including Falcon 20s, CRJs, Convairs, ATRs, and Boeing 727s, supporting ad-hoc cargo services and contract charter operations for major logistics providers. Job Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned aircraft
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation
- Complete required maintenance records and documentation accurately
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations
- Work collaboratively with team members to return aircraft to service safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent aircraft maintenance experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following aircraft:
- Boeing 727
- CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet)
- ATR
- Falcon
- Convair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cargo or charter operations
- Familiarity with Part 121 or Part 135 environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
