Job Description:

About Us

Airworthy Aviation is a small, family-owned aircraft maintenance shop built on a simple idea:
take care of your people, and they’ll take care of the airplanes.

We’re not a corporate MRO. We don’t believe in burnout, micromanagement, or treating mechanics like a number. We focus on quality work, safe aircraft, and a relaxed, respectful shop environment where everyone’s voice matters.

As we grow, we’re looking for A&P Mechanics—especially those with Inspection Authorization (IA)—who want stability, flexibility, and a place they can actually enjoy coming to work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on general aviation aircraft
  • Work on annuals, 100-hour inspections, and troubleshooting
  • IAs will perform and sign off annual inspections
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations
  • Collaborate directly with owners and pilots (no corporate layers)
  • Take pride in safe, thorough, high-quality workmanship
Job Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • FAA-certified A&P Mechanic (IA strongly preferred, but not required)
  • Experience in general aviation maintenance preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • A team-first attitude and pride in your work
  • Newer A&Ps and recent grads are welcome to apply—we’re happy to mentor

Why You’ll Like Working Here

  • Family-owned, low-stress, relaxed atmosphere
  • We cater to our employees—your life outside the hangar matters
  • Flexible scheduling and reasonable workloads
  • Direct communication with ownership (no corporate red tape)
  • Opportunity for IA growth and long-term stability
  • Work where your skills are respected and appreciated

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
  • IA pay premium
  • Flexible schedule options
  • Paid time off
  • Supportive environment focused on work-life balance

(We’re open to discussing what matters most to you—let’s talk.)
