Job Description:

Position Summary:
The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on corporate aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to maintain aircraft safety, reliability, and appearance for corporate flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled inspections and unscheduled maintenance on corporate aircraft including jets and turboprops.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace airframe, powerplant, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems and components.
  • Comply with all FAA regulations including FAR Part 43, Part 91, and Part 135 as applicable.
  • Complete all required documentation including logbook entries, work orders, and maintenance tracking system sign-offs.
  • Perform engine runs, operational checks, and functional tests to verify proper system operation.
  • Assist with aircraft pre-flight, post-flight, and turn-around inspections.
  • Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, illustrated parts catalogs, and service bulletins.
  • Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance control, and vendors to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to company FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs.
  • Support AOG recovery efforts and road trips as required.
  • Assist with aircraft detailing and cosmetic upkeep to meet corporate standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager or DOM.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • SIDA/Airport Badge required
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  • Minimum 5 years corporate aircraft maintenance experience required.
  • Must have experience on corporate jet and/or turboprop aircraft. Type-specific experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of FARs, maintenance manuals, and corporate aviation standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical data.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
