A&P Mechanic

Job Description:

Job Summary:
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures under close supervision. Requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Drivers License

FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or 2 years of aviation maintenance experience

Principal Duties:

Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications

Complete paperwork (CMP cards, work orders, etc.) accurately and timely

Ensure quality standards and specifications are met

Communicate effectively with team and supervisors

Operate ground support equipment safely

Protect customer property and equipment

Additional Responsibilities:

Use material tracking system and manage waste disposal

Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean work areas

Use and maintain company tools and equipment

Comply with safety rules and procedures

Support aircraft certification and testing, including flight tests (as required)

Other Requirements:

Working knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Ability to work any shift as assigned by manager. Shift is not guaranteed.

Uniform Policy

Uniform Requirements: Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).

Interim Attire: Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.

3 T-Shirts

3 Flat front pants

2 Face masks (in case the mask mandate returns)

Safety Shoes: Steel-toed shoes required for job duties.
