Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with a strong background in Boeing and Airbus aircraft. The ideal candidate will hold an A&P license and have at least five years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance, both on-call and scheduled, on various customer aircraft.
- Execute routine maintenance and airworthiness releases to return aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and manufacturer manuals, and document all work performed.
- Perform assigned line maintenance duties, activities, and tasks.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carriers maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills
- A&P license with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance, specifically with Airbus models including A330, A300, A310, and A350.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to disassemble and reassemble aircraft components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
- Proven ability to meet performance goals and deadlines.
Work Environment
Work will be performed in a hangar or outside, ensuring that you experience a hands-on and varied work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
