Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed A&P Mechanic responsible for performing intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks on 737 aircrafts. The candidate should be capable of working independently and ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform flight control and engine throttle rigging.
- Execute heavy maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- Conduct aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ensure aircraft are maintained safely according to Airworthiness Standards.
- Proficiently use FAA-approved data such as IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM.
- Perform airframe repairs as assigned, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Read and follow technical publications, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Utilize a PC, iPad, and basic computer applications and programs.
- Demonstrate punctuality, adherence to work schedules, and self-motivation.
- Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Essential Skills
- A&P License
- 6+ months of aircraft maintenance experience

Work Environment
Work in a clean hangar on 737 aircrafts primarily for commercial airlines. The facility, located at Rockford International Airport, includes two 10-story hangar bays and covers 238,000 square feet. The work environment can become cold from September to May due to hangar doors opening and closing. Shifts are from Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with a night shift differential.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
