Responsible to accomplish the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) functions as required by CFR 121.373; Conduct thorough examinations, surveillance, and analysis of the total maintenance system to ensure compliance and effectiveness with company procedures and federal regulations; Perform internal and external audits. Provide audit and analysis reports as required; evaluate and oversee Airworthiness Directive and other applicable regulatory compliance for Part 121 air carrier, identify hazards, potential regulatory compliance and safety violations; provide support to the company Internal Evaluation Department (IEP); detect and analyze trends of program weaknesses or deficiencies; perform risk assessment and detailed root cause analysis to include human factors; evaluate corrective action plans for effectiveness; support Engineering and Maintenance Program functions to include the FAA approved Reliability Program as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- A & P license
- 7 years work experience in maintenance of Part 121 or military aircraft (two year degree in Aircraft Technology related field may be used in place of two years work experience)
- Working knowledge of Boeing manuals/ service bulletins / ABX AIR suite of Maintenance Manuals
- Working knowledge of CFR 121 and an understanding of FAA regulations
Preferred:
- CASS and/or CASE auditing and analysis experience
- Previous technical writing experience
- Knowledge and experience in risk assessment and root cause analysis
- Experience with MXI
