Job Description:

Vinnell Arabia has multiple Airframe Technician positions available.

Performs duties as an Airframe structural repair technician. Performs duties as Aircraft airframe Structural Repairman such as inspections, repairs, and replacement of aircraft structural components to include stringers, longerons, bulkheads, beams and aircraft skin according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. Fabricates structural parts and forming blocks. Shapes metal using stretching, shrinking, and other metal forming techniques. Mixes and applies fiberglass materials. Makes unscheduled emergency and permanent repairs to transparent plastic windows and enclosures. Uses the following; common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures to perform structural repairs. Mixes and applies primers and paints to aircraft surfaces. Applies corrosion control treatment to aircraft metals. Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock items for repair of aircraft structures. Uses and performs operator maintenance on common special tools. Prepares, forms and records related to maintenance activity. Provides training to Saudi National Guard soldiers to include certification recommendations for level progression. Schedule training and document training in an automated training management system. Provide training reports as required. Ensures, that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner. 

Job Requirements:

Education level: High school diploma required.

Experience: Five (5) years’ experience performing aircraft structural repairs. Qualified by the appropriate USG armed forces aircraft structural maintenance course or civilian equivalent required. Ten (10) years’ experience performing aircraft structural repairs Desired. US Military or civilian technical trainer experience desired. Experience in overseas contracting environments desired.
 
Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Military aircraft structural maintenance course or civilian equivalent required. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation. Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance in AH-64E / UH-60M / AH-6I MD 500 series Aircraft's. Ability to communicate both orally and written. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire. Ability to effectively deal with people in the supervision of staff and team members. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. Possesses a valid State driver’s license. 
Salary Range: TBD-TBD
Travel: One year contract, renewable
