Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and self-reliant A&P Technician to join our expanding mobile AOG team. This full-time, on-call/mobile response position is based in the Southeast U.S., with primary bases in Lawrenceville, GA, and Jacksonville, FL, and requires nationwide travel as needed. Our repair station, founded by operators who understand the urgency of aircraft maintenance, specializes in jet and turboprop maintenance, avionics sales and integration, and rapid AOG response.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair turboprop or light/medium jet aircraft quickly and safely.
- Document maintenance work accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with pilots, directors of maintenance, and aircraft owners.
- Perform maintenance tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
- Comply with FAA regulations and adhere to aircraft maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
Essential Skills
- Current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- At least 4 years of hands-on maintenance experience on turboprop or light/medium jet aircraft.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems in the field.
- Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance manuals, and service bulletins.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Factory or type-specific training on Garmin avionics, Pratt & Whitney, or common business-jet platforms (preferred but not required).
- Previous Part 145 repair station or mobile AOG experience (preferred but not required).
- Sheet-metal fabrication or composite repair skills (preferred but not required).
- Ability to handle avionics diagnostics and basic Garmin installations/repairs.

Work Environment
The position offers a rotating schedule: week on, week off, from Thursday to Wednesday, with guaranteed 40 hours. There are significant opportunities for overtime and travel per-diem.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrenceville, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
