Job Description

We are seeking experienced AOG Aircraft Technicians with a valid license and 2-5 years of experience working on Corporate aircraft. This role involves working across various locations, including Nashville, Raleigh, Naples, and West Palm Beach.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work scope is completed on time and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on aircraft models, including malfunctions diagnosis, disassembly, repair, and reassembly.
  • Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies and systems such as landing gear and air conditioning.
  • Order and obtain necessary parts for aircraft repairs, ensuring cores are returned per procedure.
  • Maintain knowledge of inspection procedures as per FAR Part 145, and ensure documentation aligns with FAR 43 and other applicable FARs.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs and inspection reports.
  • Ensure maintenance and specialized services comply with Inspection System procedures outlined in the Quality Control manual.
  • Communicate safety expectations and monitor the work environment to maintain safety and order.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to meet customer expectations and assist mechanics and avionic technicians as needed.
  • Assist the MST Lead Mechanic in maintaining equipment, ensuring the MST is in safe operating condition.
  • Travel up to 200 miles outside of the base city and work a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule.

Essential Skills

  • Valid A&P license
  • 2-5 years of experience working on corporate aircraft
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components
  • Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, and phase inspections
  • Experience on Cessna aircraft

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience with Phenom, King Air, Beechcraft, Citation, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Falcon aircraft
  • Valid state-issued drivers license with a clean motor vehicle record

Work Environment

Work as part of a Mobile Service Truck (MST) team focused on customer aircraft maintenance. Enjoy a collaborative and supportive work environment where team members assist each other. Work in a mid-sized MRO facility with about 250 employees, offering a family atmosphere and opportunities to learn and grow.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $56.00/hr.
