Candor Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Mechanic to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As an AOG Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing rapid-response maintenance support for aircraft that are grounded due to mechanical issues. You will travel as needed to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and return-to-service operations on a variety of corporate and general aviation aircraft. You will also be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company managed aircraft local to DFW area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to AOG events promptly, performing accurate diagnostics and repairs in the field.
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Upload maintenance work orders, service reports, and job completion details into the company system to close out AOG events properly—must be computer literate and detail-oriented.
- Maintain thorough documentation of work performed, including logbook entries, parts usage, and corrective actions.
- Utilize aircraft manuals, drawings, and OEM guidance to ensure accurate repairs and compliance.
- Collaborate with customers, maintenance controllers, and internal teams to communicate status updates and job progress clearly.
- Be prepared to travel with little notice, including weekends and holidays, depending on customer needs.
- Maintain and operate company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly and professionally.
