About the Opportunity:
Join a dynamic and impactful role as an AOG Mechanic, where youll be part of our client’s Mobile Service Unit (MSU) team. This position offers you the chance to respond to critical aircraft-on-ground (AOG) events, ensuring swift, on-site maintenance services that uphold safety and compliance. With a focus on business and corporate aviation platforms such as Gulfstream, Bombardier, Cessna, King Air, and Embraer, you will play a vital part in enhancing operational uptime. The 8-on/6-off schedule provides a balanced work-life rhythm, while a competitive hourly wage underscores the value of your expertise.
Responsibilities:
Deploy rapidly to AOG events, executing high-quality maintenance in the field.
Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve discrepancies, complying with FAA and OEM standards.
Communicate directly with external clients to manage expectations, scope of work, and timelines.
Document all maintenance work accurately using internal systems.
Maintain readiness of your assigned AOG vehicle, tools, and inventory.
Uphold professionalism and exceptional customer service on-site.
Ensure all actions emphasize safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
Proficient troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
Clear, professional communication ability with clients.
Familiarity with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Corridor, Airtable, etc.).
Ability to work independently and represent the company on-site.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a customer-service focus.
Work Environment:
Extended hours or weekend work may be necessary based on AOG demand.
Role requires rapid response to AOG situations, sometimes in high-pressure or adverse conditions.
Travel to customer locations is required.
Physical Demands:
Ability to see, hear, and communicate in English clearly.
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, twisting, bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and moving in tight quarters.
Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Capability to work in all weather conditions.
Regularly push/pull up to 70 pounds and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
