We are seeking an experienced AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Aircraft Technician to support rapid-response maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate aircraft in Tampa, Florida. This role is responsible for safely returning aircraft to service through efficient diagnostics, compliant repairs, and accurate documentation&x2014;often under tight timelines and changing conditions.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience supporting King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, and/or Global aircraft, with a minimum of 3 years of experience across any combination of these platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Respond to AOG service calls and perform maintenance to return aircraft to service quickly and safely.
Troubleshoot aircraft systems and determine corrective actions in a time-sensitive environment.
Perform inspections, repairs, removals/installs, and component changes using approved data.
Use and interpret maintenance manuals and approved references (AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, drawings, engineering dispositions, etc.).
Complete functional checks, operational checks, and return-to-service actions.
Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and quality standards.
Accurately complete all maintenance documentation, including logbook entries and work order records.
Coordinate with leads, maintenance control, and QA as needed for approvals and release requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with safety/FOD policies.
Communicate professionally and represent the company well while supporting AOG events.
Requirements Must have a valid A&P License
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience on any combination of: King Air, Citation, Gulfstream, Global
Strong troubleshooting ability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Prior AOG/on-call experience in corporate/business aviation
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Experience working in fast-paced, high-urgency environments
Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights/weekends/holidays as required by AOG demand.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements (drug screen/background, etc.).
Valid drivers license and ability to meet badging/site access requirements.
Miscellaneous Must have a clean driving record.
