Job Title: AOG A&P Mechanic
Job Description
Primarily based at Midway Airport. As an AOG A&P Mechanic, you will perform crucial maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate and private aircraft in the hangar and on the road during AOG rotations. The role also involves floating to other locations, including working on commercial and general aviation aircraft as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corporate/private aircraft both in hangar and on AOG rotations.
- Participate in weekly on-call/AOG rotation with the team, with opportunities for additional AOG calls if desired.
- Manage projects in hangar or on the road, providing updates to all parties involved in maintenance.
- Engage with passengers, aircraft owners, maintenance control teams, and others to ensure aircraft are returned to service promptly.
Essential Skills
- Possession of an A&P License.
- 3-5 years corporate Jet Maintenance
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with corporate flight departments, maintenance controllers, and customers.
- Strong documentation skills, exceeding standard log books, to effectively narrate project progress.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with corporate/private airframes is strongly preferred.
- Interest in AOG work is valuable, even without prior experience.
- Professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled hangar with a team-focused environment. The schedule includes a weekly 7-on/7-off on-call rotation for travel and weekend work, with standard in-hangar work on weeks off-call. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with flexibility required as needed. Travel within a 300-mile radius, primarily in Chicago, but extending to cities like Kansas City, Indianapolis, Nashville, Little Rock, and Des Moines. AOG calls are conducted as a team, ensuring support and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
