As a Part 91 VIP Helicopter Operator in The Bahamas, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of an AW139 helicopter in accordance with FAA Part 91 regulations as a part of a small and capable team.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
Flight Operations: Conducting pre-flight inspections, dispatching and recovering flights, while complying with all relevant airport aviation regulations and company policies.
Safety: Prioritizing safety above all else, including maintaining a culture of safety within the organization, adhering to standard operating procedures, and conducting risk assessments via open communication with the rest of the flight department.
Maintenance: Collaborating with the maintenance department personnel to ensure the aircraft is properly serviced and maintained in accordance with Leonardo and FAA regulatory requirements. Willing and able to perform pre-flight/ post-flight inspections, as well as calendar and hourly inspection tasks (i.e. 25/50/100/300 hrs & 12 mos and beyond).
Miscellaneous: Will be required to actively participate and oversee the ancillary/ secondary duties regarding logbook updates, GSE inspections and maintenance, tool control, and parts inventory.
