Accessories Shop Senior Technician

Job Description:

The Accessories Shop Senior Technician performs comprehensive disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and installation of aircraft accessories, including valves, pumps, pneumatic components, and power generation systems, in strict accordance with OEM maintenance manuals, FAA/EASA regulations, and internal company procedures.
Lead advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic activities on complex mechanical, pneumatic, and aircraft power generation systems (including generators, starters, and related components) using specialized test equipment and precision tooling.
Conduct functional testing and performance verification of pneumatic and power generation units to ensure reliability, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure proper procedural adherence, workmanship standards, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities.
Ensure all tools, fixtures, and test equipment are properly calibrated, maintained, and utilized safely and correctly.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or A&P certification.
Minimum 10 years of experience in aircraft component maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment.
Strong working knowledge of aircraft accessories, including valves, actuators, pumps, pneumatic systems, and power generation components (e.g., generators and starters).
Ability to read, interpret, and apply OEM maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs (IPC), component maintenance manuals (CMM), service bulletins, and regulatory requirements.
Working knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations and quality system standards applicable to component repair stations.
Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems using precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
Experience performing functional testing, inspection, and final sign-off in accordance with regulatory and company authorization.
