Aviation Maintenance Group, Inc. (AMG), an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and member of the Threshold Aviation Group family of companies, is seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanics to join our growing team at our Chino Airport (KCNO), California facility.

AMG performs structural repairs, major inspections, modifications, corrosion remediation, aircraft refurbishment, and heavy maintenance on a variety of business jet aircraft, including Gulfstream, Bombardier Challenger, Citation, Hawker, Falcon, and other turbine-powered aircraft.

Preferred Experience

• Gulfstream structural repair experience
• Challenger, Citation, Falcon, or Hawker experience
• Composite repair certifications or extensive field experience
• Major corrosion remediation projects
• FAA-approved structural repairs
• Heavy maintenance and modification environments
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and DER-approved repair data

Qualified candidates should possess substantial experience performing:

• Sheet metal repair and fabrication
• Structural repair and modification of business jet aircraft
• Composite structure inspection and repair
• Corrosion identification, treatment, and repair
• Installation of repair doublers, splice plates, and structural assemblies
• Structural component removal and replacement
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, SRMs, and repair instructions
• Layout, fabrication, drilling, riveting, and installation of structural components
• Aircraft disassembly and reassembly associated with major repairs and inspections

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years aircraft structural repair experience
• Business jet experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and workmanship standards
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• A&P Certificate preferred but not required
