Job Title: Aircraft Assembler - Structures
Job DescriptionAircraft Assemblers are responsible for large structural assembly for the Air Bus 350 XWB, specifically the fuselage section. Candidates must be capable of passing a plate test and be flexible to work any shift. Responsibilities include drilling and countersinking composite and metal parts, reading metric blueprints, and following work instructions. Familiarity with aircraft parts and structural assembly is required. All Assemblers must pass a plate test during orientation.
Responsibilities
- Perform large structural assembly for the Air Bus 350 XWB fuselage section.
- Drill and countersink composite and metal parts.
- Read metric blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Familiarize with aircraft parts and structural assembly.
- Pass a plate test during orientation.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of sheet metal, aircraft assembly, or aircraft structures experience.
- Proficiency in drilling, fastening, countersinking, and sealing.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with riveting and using fasteners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Airbus or Boeing preferred.
- Military structures experience is acceptable.

Work Environment
Work shifts include 1st shift (7am – 3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm – 11:30pm), and 3rd shift (11pm – 7:30am). Employees work 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotation of 2 weekends on and 1 weekend off. The environment is very clean, with standing and working on lifts all day. The work involves repetitive tasks and long hours, but the team-oriented culture makes it enjoyable.

This is a Contract position based out of Kinston, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
